The Simpsons Season 9 premieres on April 17, 2018.

In an exclusive interview with Entertainment Weekly, creator Matt Groening talks about the upcoming season, what’s coming next for the Simpsons, and the potential for the upcoming seasons to be the greatest ever.

“This is the first time we’ve done anything like this in the last 20 years,” Groening tells EW.

“It’s just like, I’m really excited to get the season started.

I mean, I’ve never really had a chance to get an original show done in the studio, so this is just a really great opportunity for us to do it, and to be able to do something like this is so exciting.

The first episode of the new season, “The Last Bart,” will air on April 5, and Groening reveals the cast will include Amy Poehler, Sarah Chalke, and Marge Simpson. “

I don’t know what to say except that I’m just excited to be here.”

We’re all excited that we’re doing it, because we feel like we’re on the right track.
