The news follows the company’s announcement last month that it would be rolling out an API for “illustrating text” which it claims will improve the quality of text displayed in Google Search.
The new feature is expected to be available to users by the end of the year.
The feature will be used in Google+ Hangouts and Hangouts on devices running Google Chrome OS.
It will be available on the Google Web Console, Google+ and Google Docs apps, as well as on the Gmail mobile app.
The API is expected be available in beta versions by early January, with further improvements planned.
